Stephanie Quon

Hello! My name is Stephanie, and I am in my second year studying electrical engineering here at UBC. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, journaling, and following modular origami tutorials! I am very grateful for the opportunity to volunteer for The Kaleidoscope, and I hope that through volunteering, I can contribute to supporting students and fostering a community of care and support.

I recently joined the Kaleidoscope Team as a grant writer and I’m very excited to be part of such a great organization! Having struggled with my own mental health difficulties throughout my life, I know firsthand the importance of having caring and supporting peers. I’m eager to apply my skills in academic grant writing to help Kaleidoscope and its awesome team continue to grow and thrive.

What attracted to The Kaleidoscope was its commitment to promote mental wellness. I think the mind is one of the most important things to take care of, it influences everything.  Given my interest in mental health and graphic design, I’m enthusiastic about their intersection as Social Media Contributor. I’m looking forward to learning more about and promoting mental wellness through my time with The Kaleidoscope and its dedicated members.
